Kirk loves hugs. He especially loves hugs from women, but not just any women. Kirk’s a fan of the kind of woman who knows who she is and what she wants out of life. There’s no challenge in bedding bimbos, you see. If Kirk were alive today, we think he’d be all over modern geek girls. (In fact, Kirk and Felicia Day would make beautiful babies together. Just sayin’.) Are you intelligent, strong-willed, and self-assured? Are you hot? Species doesn’t matter too much – even if you’re an android, you can win Kirk’s affections. (Just be warned, as soon as you learn how to love, he’s going to dump you.) All Kirk wants to do is wrap his arms around you and give you a hug. Anything else that happens between two consenting adults or androids is a matter to be discussed later. Spock would not like a hug. Seriously.

If you were a robot, and we knew but you didn’t, would you want us to tell you? Part of the reason we know you’re a robot is the fact that you are drawn to accessories to attach to yourself. Your android body is not sufficient, so you keep looking for little improvements – a multi-tool here, a super bright laser pointer there. You can’t quite integrate your laptop into your person, so you’ve bought a netbook and you’re as surgically attached to your smartphone as possible. We’ve seen all the signs. Well, robot friend, if you’re trying to do difficult work in the dark (which we assume you are, since geeks often live in caves, dark leafy jungles, poorly lit cube farms, or basements), you need a pair of these LED Work Gloves. “Viewers of Blade Runner may debate whether Deckard was a replicant or not (and may come up with a different answer depending on which version they see), but fans all know the correct answer. Han shot first. Wait. Wrong hotly-contested debate in geekdom about a Harrison Ford character with only one correct answer. Let’s start again. Honestly, we think it’s perfect that Ridley Scott thought Deckard was a replicant and Ford thought Deckard was a human. In order to play Deckard authentically, Ford would have to think that. And yes, we’ve read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, and yes, we love Philip K. Dick, but the movie is an interpretation of the book, not a literal presentation. Like The Princess Bride, both the book and the movie are spectacular as independent pieces. And we like it like that. Charcoal grey, babydoll (fitted) t-shirt with an origami unicorn printed in silver foil on the lower right hip. Note: To maximize longevity of the design (“”Longevity? Ben H. Winters wrote the amazing Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. Always being a gracious author, he decided to help out another up-and-coming writer (just like he did for Jane Austen): Leo Tolstoy. The result is the crazy, steampunk, dramatic adventure Android Karenina. A book that dares ask the question: can robots and love exist together? And then proceeds to answer that question using words. As in the original novel, Android Karenina follows two relationships: the tragic adulterous romance of Anna Karenina and Count Alexei Vronsky, and the much more hopeful marriage of Konstantin Levin and Kitty Shcherbatskaya. These four, yearning for true love, live in a steampunk-inspired 19th century of mechanical butlers, extraterrestrial-worshiping cults, and airborne debutante balls. Their passions alone would be enough to consume them – but when a secret cabal of radical scientific revolutionaries launches an attack on Russian high society’s high-tech lifestyle, our heroes must fight back with all their courage, all their gadgets, and all the power of a sleek new cyborg model like nothing the world has ever seen.
