ThinkGeek :: Stuff for Smart Masses

Beating Heart Stress Relief Pillow
“We’re no stranger to stress here at the ThinkGeek office. We toil night and day tortuously sorting through shiny new toys and electronics while we down loads of caffeinated beverages and try to select only the choicest gadget fruits to satisfy your discerning palette. Yep… it’s a tough job but we have these handy Stress Relief Pillows to help out. Clutch them to your chest and they vibrate with a special rhythmic heart beat to calm your nerves. We were skeptical at first, but found that they really do de-stress even the jaded amongst us. The amazing thing about My Beating Heart is that every time you turn it on, an entirely unique heartbeat rhythm is created. In fact, every rhythm itself gradually changes and subtly dances, algorithmically modeling the heartbeat in a deep meditative state. This isn’t a pre-recorded rhythm and this isn’t a “”heartbeat sound.”” This is a physical heartbeat that realistically changes over time. Our hearts naturally begin to dance and sync with the hearts of other we hold or hug. This is a phenomenon we have observed for ages. Hugging the Beating Heart a few minutes allows the calm and dreamy beat to relax the body, ease the mind, and cajoles the spirit”

Geeky Wrapping Paper
“After years of toiling and desperation, our engineers at ThinkGeek Gift Labs ™ have finally invented something so unique and innovative, it perplexes even the brightest minds as to how global society might be impacted. We’ll explain it to you but if your brain explodes, we warned you. You see, we have taken the flesh of a tree, mixed it up with some water and other patented goos. Then we took both some organic and inorganic pigments and dissolved them into a solvent. We took those pigments and applied them to the top of the modified tree flesh using very specific and highly intelligent patterns, and then coated everything with a nice protective finish made out of a special liquid that contains a low percentage of pigment and dries to a nice luster. We then folded these new creations and packaged four to a package and are selling them to you at a very affordable price so that you can turn around and use them to cover up things you want to gift to other people so that they might be surprised in a controlled manner. Sheer brilliance! Currently, you can choose between these designs: Equations – Scientific equations hand-written on blue and white graph paper. Binary – Black paper with a terminal green font and ‘Wrapping Paper’ in binary written all across it. Zombies – Black paper with zombies in various states of gift-giving/receiving, including a brain wrapped up with a pretty red bow. Can Has – “”Can Has”” in LOLcat font (aka Impact) printed over and over on a wasabi green background. ChristmasBots – Light blue paper with the cutest little holiday robots you’ll ever imagine. And by cute we mean hella-nifty. Nondenominational – Dark blue paper in a traditional style emblazoned with “”Have a Satisfactory, Non-denominational Capitalist, Wintertime Gift-giving Season!”” Each pack of wrapping paper contains 4 sheets. Each sheet is 20″” x 30″”. Many trees *were* harmed to bring you these unique creations, but it was all in good fun so what can we do?”

Deluxe Mini Fridge-Warmer w/ Digital Thermostat
We don’t need to give you reasons to invest in a mini-fridge. Especially if you loathe that walk to the community kitchen at the office for fear of running into the annoying sales droid who constantly needs help with his computer. This heavily portable, 20 liter capacity, mini fridge features a digital LCD display with the current inside temperature so you can rest assured your bottle of Bawls is cold. You can optionally warm that bottle of bawls to 140 degrees, but that would make you dumber than your typical mini fridge user and, as such, devoid of the ability to fix that sales droid’s computer and therefore devoid of the need to purchase a mini fridge to avoid said sales droid. Simply put stuff in your Mini Fridge you want to chill or warm up, preselect the desired temperature, sit back, and enjoy! Chrome Self Locking Door Handle and Control Buttons Ultra 20 Liter capacity For home or car – includes 2 adapters Large Digital LCD Readout – Monitors the temperature status as it reaches your pre-selected setting. Maintains the selected temperature Chills to 44 degrees Fahrenheit, Warms to 140 degrees! Interior Light – on/off switch on front of fridge controls the interior light. Light can be set to turn on automatically when door is opened. ON/Off Switch – on front of fridge turns the unit on and off. Slide out shelf to 3 adjustable levels Whisper quiet operation Large see-thru window Lightweight with sleek trim line design Unit dimensions: 12.5” x 13.5” x 17.5” Unit weight: 15 lbs.

Console Controller Soaps
“We love our gamer friends out there – hell, give us a major release and an empty weekend, and you’d probably find many ThinkGeek employees merging with their couches, mindlessly mashing buttons for hours on end. A good game means you forget to eat, neglect the bathroom, and even, perhaps, neglecting personal hygiene. Don’t stare like you don’t know what we’re talking about. You know exactly what we’re talking about, stinky. A good game will suck you in, and make you completely forget yourself and your surroundings. How many times has your significant other asked, “”Hey, can you take the garbage out?”” when you answered, “”No thanks, honey! I’m not thirsty!”” The only way we can be sure that you’d bathe is to somehow convince you that this bar of soap is a gaming controller, and that there’s a new game out called “”Wet Works”” that is so realistic, you actually get wet while playing. Oh, and we’ve moved your X-Box into the tub. Sure, that may be unlikely, but the funk level has gotten so high, desperate measures are needed. It is with that need to reduce the gamer musk in your house that we’ve worked with soap artists to develop these bars of glycerine soap that look like actual gaming controllers. Each one shaped and colored like your favorite gaming interface, and smells like Mountain Dew. So hand one of these to your stinky family member, and push them into the tub. It puts the soap controller on its skin, or else it gets the hose again.”

Motherboard Christmas Ornaments
How does a geek celebrate Christmas? Pretty much the same way any other person celebrates Christmas, just with a few more electronics involved. Santa flies in a sleigh, but it’s powered by a matter/anti-matter warp core, the three wisemen were following the light given off from a supernova remnant, and Frosty the Snowman is actually a cylon. Also, a geek’s Christmas decorations are of full of win: his house-lights are internet-enabled, webcammed, and synced with the local holiday-themed radio station. His tree’s lights were replaced with LEDs, and his ornaments are actually colorful recycled motherboards. If you haven’t yet taken the first step into geeky holiday decor, we’ll help you out with this set of three Christmas ornaments, each cut from recycled motherboards. Green trees, blue stars, and red bells, each about 3.5 inches wide, will look great hanging from your tree. Spruce, fir or pine doesn’t matter. Heck, hang it from your fake plastic-tree, if that’s your game. So, ring in a cool Yule, and celebrate the season, geek-style!
