Robotics DIY Three Working Robots
ThinkGeek :: Stuff for Smart Masses
Terminators didn’t just pop up out of nowhere. Okay, actually they did, but that was due to time travel, so it really doesn’t count. We’d have to get into the Novikov Self-Consistency Principle and that’s a little too hardcore for these cute and colorful robots. It is unlikely that your child will grow up to be the next Miles Dyson after putting together these robots. But who knows? This kit won’t help you build a nearly indestructible assassin, but it’s a place to start your robotics adventure. This kit has everything you need to assemble three types of robots. The first detects objects using infrared rays, the second is a light-sensitive alarm, and the third can be operated using your TV remote. Best of all, there’s no messy or dangerous soldering required. Everything snaps together with ease. A separate circuit and body are supplied for each robot: just fix the selected circuit onto the robot base and add the corresponding transparent body. Product Specifications For ages 8 and Up WARNING: Contains small parts – Not intended for children under 3 years of age Build three different types of robots: Detects objects using infrared rays, Light-sensitive alarm bot, and Operates with your TV remote No messy or dangerous soldering required; all parts snap together A separate circuit and body are supplied for each robot Fix the selected circuit onto the robot base and add the corresponding transparent body NOTE: The kit comes with one robot base, so only one robot can be built at a time

Samurai Sword Handle Umbrella
ThinkGeek :: Stuff for Smart Masses

The rain falls softly. The samurai draws his sword. Look, an umbrella. Either we just made it up, or that Haiku dates to around the 14th century. It is a little known fact that Samurai also carried umbrellas. Much as they later had to disguise their swords as canes, so they disguised their umbrellas as swords. In fact, there was one skilled umbrella maker who all the Samurai relied on for their Sword Handle Umbrellas. His name has been buried in the sands of time, but his plans have been preserved. And now, it is with great pleasure that we offer to you, the Samurai Sword Handle Umbrella. Glide it out of its nylon sheath. Hold it by its space-age plastic handle. Feel the balance. This is the umbrella you never knew you always wanted. No one will mess with you with this slung across your back, and even the rain will shudder when you pull it out. For, apart from looking unbelievably awesome, the Samurai Sword Handle Umbrella is a dang fine umbrella. It will keep you dry and the envy of your friends. Precipitation doesn’t stand a chance.

Just suck… in… the gut… and stuff the tool in the pocket – quickly! THERE! It fits. What is that stabbing pain? Don’t mind that – it’s just the corkscrew attachment.
